Our Fabrics
100% GOTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON
We create our knitwear using 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Organic cotton is a great alternative to regular cotton. It's grown without the use of any synthetic agricultural materials such as fertilisers, pesticides or genetic engineering. It's production sustains the health of our soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs. Organic cotton cultivation is based on the regenerative farming practices of crop rotation, animal and vegetable fertilizers, biological pest control and manual weeding.
The production of organic cotton saves 90% of the water consumption used in conventional production. It relies heavily on natural rain which reduces pressure on our water sources.
At Style ignite Studio, we believe that organic cotton will become a significant part of the future. We feel it is important to support organic cotton farmers and the demand for this kind of GOTS certified material.
Our Packaging
Our swing tags are made from FSC certified paper which is considered the "gold standard" designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is a non-profit organization that sets certain high standards to make sure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner. The FSC label on our tags shows that the wood used in our swing tag and the manufacturer that made it met the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council.
Our mailer bags are made of oxo-degradable material which biodegrades in 18 to 24 months and leaves just a small amount of particles behind.
